Quick and Easy Diet Soup Recipe

a. Cabbage Soup Recipe

The cabbage diet soup is based on a fat-burning soup that contains negligible calories. The more soup you eat the more weight you should lose. The cabbage soup diet is a radical weight loss diet designed around heavy consumption of a cabbage fat burning soup. Cabbage soup also makes an excellent in-between  diet meal food due to its low calorie content. The cabbage soup diet claims you can lose up to 10 pounds in a single day, which is dangerous to the extreme, and definitely not regarded as safe practice by doctors. As a ‘crash’ diet, the initial weight loss tends to be mostly water, which is, of course, rapidly replaced.

Ingredients :

  • 3 medium onions
  • 1 green peppers
  • 1/2 head of cabbage
  • 1/4 package Lipton soup mix
  • 1 Carrots
  • 1/2 bunch of celery
  • lots of water and season to taste with salt, parsley, basil, oregano, garlic powder, etc.

Cut all vegetables into small pieces, add cabbage, onions, green peppers take the seeds out, celery and carrots in a pot. Add water to fully cover all the vegetables & stir in soup mix, lower heat and then simmer uncovered for ten minutes., until the cabbage is faded. Season to taste with salt, parsley, basil, oregano, garlic powder, etc. to keep the recipe interesting you can make a base soup and then add seasoning/ herbs each day for different flavours. b. Black Bean Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (14 ounces) can diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cups chopped onion & Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoons sherry vinegar
  • For garnish fresh chives, chopped or snipped directions

Directions: Black Beans Soup

Take a soup pot over medium heat, Add butter. Melt butter in a soup pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and season with salt and pepper. Cook and stir until the onion is softened. Add tomatoes, black beans. Add cream, curry, cumin, cayenne, sherry vinegar and salt, to taste. Simmer 5 minutes, adjust seasonings and serve garnished with chopped chives.
